The MLTC has built a number of middle school town tennis teams that play in a competitive spring league. Currently, we host teams for the towns of:
These teams are the only option for inter-town team play in the spring that help kids prepare for the next step into high school competition. Players are bused to their away matches where they play other teams such as Lincoln/Sudbury, Wellesley and Weston. A membership to the MLTC is NOT needed and players outside of these towns can also join in.
The season runs for eight weeks beginning the Monday after April vacation and continues through mid-June. Practices are Mondays through Thursdays from 2:45-4:45 (no program on Memorial Day) and match dates will occur on either Tuesdays or Thursdays. Exact match dates are announced in early April.
The program is constructed to emphasize participation and to prepare kids for future high school play. Players do need to have a basic knowledge of the game and the ability to serve and rally. We can only accept a maximum of 25 participants and it will be first-come/first-served as long as players fit those criteria.
Players may opt to commit to two days a week ($360), three days a week for ($400) or all four days ($460). When choosing the two or three day option, players must pick the specific days and are allowed to do those days only. The dates must include a Monday or a Wednesday and they must be permanently chosen before the program begins!
Westford practices and matches are held at the Stony Brook courts in Westford while all practices and all home matches for other teams are at the MLTC.
There are no make-ups, prorates or refunds.
